ZillionTV Signs Agreement with Academy Award®-Winning Studio to Bring Lauded Films Including The Reader and Vicky Cristina Barcelona to ZillionTV in 2009
Cannes, France, ZillionTV Booth — Palais Hall 01, Stand 26.02, March 30, 2009 — ZillionTV, a first-of-its-kind personalized television platform, announced today a content agreement with The Weinstein Company, an independent American movie studio best known for films including The Reader and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. This announcement was made at MIPTV, the international market for financing, co-producing, buying and selling entertainment across all platforms.
The Weinstein Company joins ZillionTV's roster of more than 40 content providers, including Disney, 20th Century Fox Television, NBC Universal, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution. As a result of this agreement, acclaimed films from the Weinstein Company's library, ranging from Soul Men and Vicky Cristina Barcelona to The Reader and Zack and Miri Make a Porno, will be available on ZillionTV in 2009.

Through the ZillionTVTM Service, content creators can give consumers instant and subscription-free access to their portfolio of content through a cost-effective and fully-customizable distribution platform. Without any content capacity constraints or limitations, content providers now have the opportunity to offer a wide variety of movies and television shows, including content that might not otherwise be available, such as libraries of timeless archived programming not accessible through traditional linear TV or other on-demand television distribution services.
The announcement of ZillionTV's agreement with The Weinstein Company is timed with MIPTV, the leading International entertainment content market. ZillionTV is sponsoring MIPTV's opening night activities, including co-sponsoring the International Digital Emmy® Awards, which recognizes excellence in content created and designed for viewer interaction and delivery on a digital platform. In addition, ZillionTV's Chief Executive Officer Mitch Berman, will speak on a panel entitled "On Demand TV: Power of Choice, Control and Personalisation" on April 1 at 4:15pm in the Conference Room Esterel, Level 5, Palais des Festivals.

The Weinstein Company (TWC) was created by Bob and Harvey Weinstein, the brothers who founded Miramax Films Corporation in 1979. TWC is a multi-media company that officially launched on October 1, 2005. Dimension Films, the genre label that was founded in 1993 by Bob Weinstein, is also included under the TWC banner.
Upcoming films to be released in 2009 by The Weinstein Company and Dimension Films include: Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" starring Brad Pitt, Mike Meyers, and Diane Kruger; "All Good Things" starring Ryan Gosling, Kirsten Dunst and Frank Langella; "H2," the sequel to Rob Zombie's 2007 reinvention of the horror classic "Halloween"; the highly anticipated musical "Nine," directed by Rob Marshall, featuring an all-star cast including Daniel Day Lewis, Penélope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, Marion Cotillard, Sophia Loren, Judi Dench, and Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson.
